Dana L. Kurtz, Esq.​

Over 20 years of experience, with some of the highest trial verdict in the United States. Ms. Kurtz is available for consulting on trials and litigation strategies. In 2018, Ms. Kurtz obtained the 3rd largest verdict for a single plaintiff in a sexual harassment, retaliation case in the United States in the amount of $11.2 million.

Successfully argued before the Seventh Circuit in Jacobs v. City of Chicago, 215 F.3d 758 (7th Cir. 2000), on issues of qualified immunity and unlawful search and seizure; Lewis v. City of Chicago, 496 F.3d 645 (7th Cir. 2007); Valentino v. South Chicago Heights, 575 F.3d 664 (7th Cir. 2009), and authored several appellate court briefs in federal and state court and won favorable outcomes for clients.

Externed for Judge Ann Claire Williams in the District Court of the Northern District of Illinois, Fall 1996 and 1997.

Public speaking engagements on protecting employees’ constitutional rights, employment discrimination, and sexual harassment for municipal employees.
